The short version
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third-party trackers. Fonts are served from our own host. There are no accounts and no forms. The only personal data we handle is the standard technical data our hosting provider processes to serve the site, and whatever you choose to send us by email.
That is also why you see no cookie banner here: consent banners are required for non-essential cookies and trackers, and we use none.
Who is responsible
This website is operated by Plural Worlds, based in the Netherlands. The controller for the processing described here is Plural Worlds, reachable at [email protected].
What we process, and why
Server logs. When you visit this site, the hosting provider that serves it processes technical data that your browser transmits: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the pages requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system identifiers. This is standard for any website and is needed to deliver the pages, keep the site secure, and diagnose faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, functioning website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is kept only as long as the hosting provider needs it for these purposes and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Email. If you contact us, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and the content of your message, in order to respond. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) or, where your message concerns a possible agreement, steps prior to entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep correspondence as long as the exchange is live and afterwards only where a legal obligation or a legitimate business reason requires it.
What we do not do
- No cookies — neither functional nor tracking.
- No analytics or measurement scripts.
- No advertising or social media pixels.
- No third-party embeds. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own host, so visiting this site triggers no requests to font or content delivery networks run by advertising companies.
- No profiling and no automated decision-making.
- We do not sell or share personal data for marketing.
Who receives data
The only recipient of visitor data is the hosting provider that serves this website, acting as a processor on our behalf. If the provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, that transfer takes place under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We disclose data beyond this only if the law obliges us to.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.
Changes to this policy
If the website changes in a way that affects personal data — for example, if we add a contact form or privacy-respecting analytics — we will update this policy before the change goes live and revise the date at the top of this page.
